Tommy Stanley

Tommy brings over 35 years of management experience to Meridian through his responsibilities with prior companies in the roles of general manager, vice president and currently as partner. His early career was in regional sales of restoration services specializing in residential and commercial fire, water and storm damage recovery. His scope then expanded to national coverage with special emphasis on attracting the best talent in the industry to his company and providing clients competitive cost on restoration processes from drying water damaged structures, smoke damaged equipment/contents to freeze drying water damaged books and valuable papers. With Disaster Recovery Services, Tommy honed his company’s skill set to deliver expert services to an industry that was sensitive to over pricing.

As V.P. National Marketing at BMS Catastrophe, Tommy was responsible for marketing to insurance companies, brokers, independent adjusters and national corporations. Other responsibilities were directed toward scope preparation on losses from commercial buildings to manufacturing losses due to natural disasters, fires or water damage. Much of this restoration experience was dual purposed, from working on restoring buildings and their contents to also utilizing special knowledge in recovering books and papers from water/natural disasters.

Currently, as Partner at Meridian, Tommy is engaged in consulting services to the insurance industry from invoice review to scope preparation, negotiating with restoration vendors, and assisting insurance adjusters in monitoring all restoration work on projects. At Meridian we recognize the importance of having subject matter experts on the loss – the progress – the accuracy of all work – the accountability – and in confirmation of the final billing.
